I have a some birthday cards to share today.  As usual they are made mostly with CTMH product.

I love the diamond plate, it is a great way to dress up a masculine card!  Here I covered my card base with aluminum foil tape that I "borrowed" from my husbands truck, then I ran it through  my cuddlebug.  The stamped image is from my CTMH stash and is colored with my CTMH alcohol markers.

This card was made with papers from the skylark collection, I really love the color scheme on this one.

Last but not least, this is made with CTMH paper fundamentals basic paper collection.  I used my chevron embossing folder on white daisy card stock and sponged on hollyhock ink.  The flowers are recollections black and pink assortment as is the button.

My happy birthday sentiment is embossed with ctmh black embossing powder.

Here is a close up of my flower.

That is all I have to show you for projects today.  Today kicks off the new CTMH, Annual Inspirations idea book.  It is packed with great new product, and paper packs that will all be available for a full year!  Be sure to check it out you won't be sorry.

A Minibook

Hello
I hope you are enjoying your summer so far.  I have been pretty busy with the kids, but I have managed to get a few projects done.
The first one I have to share is a mini book that I made to honor the first two furbabies that my hubby and I had together, Rocky and Rascal.  We adopted Rocky when he was 8 weeks old he was a Collie, retriever mix heinz 57 he lived to be 15!  We had to say goodbye to our beloved puppy this past April, Rascal crossed the rainbow bridge back in 2011 he was 11 we adopted him when he was 9 months old he was a pure bred golden.
Anyway here are some pictures of my book:

I covered the front cover with chocolate cardstock and then distressed it with sand paper to give it a leather effect.  I also used a lot of flip flaps tthroughout this book so I could use a lot of pictures.

Thank you for stopping by, I hope you like my book.  Stay tuned for my next post whicb will be featuring some cards I recently completed.
I am also excited to announce that the new Close to My Heart idea book, annual inspirations goes live on August 1! I am so excited and can't wait for you to see it.  Be sure to visit my website on August first to check it out online or contact me to get a copy.

Happy Fathers Day!

Hello!
It has been way too long since my last post!  I worked on fathers day cards tonight.  They are all for my hubby, one from me one from my daughter and one from my son.  I used all CTMH papers and embellishments.  Speaking of CTMH we are celebrating 30 years this month!  In honor of that we have some great collections available for one month only!  They are all $30 with a $50 purchase, there is  something for everyone so head over to my website and check them out.
OK back to my fathers day cards, here they are:

I used an old paper pack for this one called "It's a Guy Thing", the stamp is from the cloud nine card making kit from January's constant campaign.  I used square durables on the top left corner, colonial white ribbon, and a buckle on the bottom.  It is simple but I think it works!
This one is going to be from my seven year old son.  I used the same paper as I did on the first one, the stamped image is a stamp of the month from a few months ago, I embellished with round durables and chocolate ribbon.

Last but not least, my ten year old daughters.  She may decide to make her own but just in case I made this one.  The paper is from the Dream Pop paper collection (yes I am finally using up my saved paper)!!! The letters are irresistables, the embellishments are clear shapes, I added washi tape  to the love tag, I thought that was super cute!
I hope you like my cards.  I will be posting another project that I have been working on foe a while tomorrow or the next day, it is a mini book to honor the first two dogs my hubby and I had together.  We lost our boy Rascal in 2011 at age 12 and just lost our precious Rocky on April 1 at age 15!  It was an emotional project, I am proud of how it turned out.  I look forward to many more scrapbook projects that include the two dogs we have now!
Thanks for stopping by!
